Happy Monday, crafters!! I hope you had a great weekend!! Brenda here with a floral card that was created using only one stamp set, the coordinating die and a stencil!! As much as I love mixing and matching products, sometimes it’s nice to use just a product or two to complete a card!!
I started by stamping the Wrapped With Love Stamp Set twice onto white cardstock with Copic-friendly black ink. I colored them with Copic markers, then used the Coordinating Die to cut them out. I added dots to the centers of the flowers with a white gel pen.
For the background, I stamped the florals from the Wrapped With Love Stamp Set around the perimeter of a panel of white cardstock with light purple ink. I trimmed the top and bottom of the panel, adhered the floral die-cuts with liquid glue, then trimmed the excess from the edges. I trimmed a panel of black cardstock that was slightly longer than the background, then adhered it with liquid glue. I wrapped black and white baker’s twine around the panel and tied it into a bow. The Classic Stripes Stencil was blended onto an A2 panel of white cardstock with black dye ink and the background panel was adhered with liquid glue.
The sentiment, also included in the Wrapped With Love Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with black pigment ink. It was cut out with the Coordinating Die and popped up with foam squares. Instead of adding embellishments, I stamped the dots from the Wrapped With Love Stamp Set to add a bit more black onto the background.
That does it for me today!! Thank you so much for stopping by!! Have a wonderful week!!
