Working With Digital Stamps | Video With Tasha

Hey Crafty People!

Today I’m sharing my process for working with Alex’s beautiful digital images, including how I size them, add a sentiment and create a full panel to be printed.

I use Silhouette Studio, because it makes everything so simple!
You can download the basic edition for free and that contains all of the tools that you need to star working your digi stamps like a pro! The stamp I used in this video is the beautiful White Jasmine and it’s available on Alex’s Etsy shop!

I will be sharing part 2 of this video on Wednesday, so be sure to keep an eye out for that!
If you have any other questions then please give me a shout and I’ll be happy to help!

Creating a Two Toned Slimline Using Silhouette Studio

I created this by following the techniques I used in Part 1 of my video, but I also added some more techniques that I’m sharing in part 2 (here!)

Once I had cut the floral portion I added some subtle shading with my cool grey Copic markers; I love how just a little shading really brings the flowers to life!

This is similar to the card I created in my last video inspiration, you can check that out here.

Background

I ink blended a slimline panel that I printed my sentiment onto and then cut with my Cameo 4. I used some of my favourite inks from Altenew; Sea Shore family which are these gorgeous teals!

I blended it darker next to the flowers and becoming lighter as we get to the edge of the panel.

The sentiment got a little lost in the ink blending, and I had printed it as just an outline, so I added an ombre teal with some more Copic markers!

I popped the floral cut panel onto adhesive foam tape and attached that onto the ink blended panel.

Have a lovely, happy, safe and wonderful week!
Stay Crafty!

Byeee!
