Today I’m sharing a couple of cards that I made using some of the new digital stamps from Alex’s May 2021 release.
My first card is featuring Wild Roses digital stamp.
To start off I printed Wild Roses A2 Card Panel design on a Canson watercolor paper and watercolored it. I printed the image in a reduced opacity to achieve a no line coloring look. After I colored the image I also colored the background in gray and purple.
The sentiment is from Better with Age set by Penny Black. I stamped it directly on the colored panel in a black pigment ink and clear heat embossed it. I then splattered white opaque ink on the panel and let it dry. After the panel was dry I trimmed it down a bit and foam mounted the panel on a navy cardbase. I finished off the card with a few clear sequins.
The second card is showing the Underwater World digital stamp set.
I printed this image in black on a Canson watercolor paper and watercolored it. For the koi fishes I chose vibrant red shade. I colored a part of the underwater ground of the image in gold watercolor to add some shine to my card.
After the panel was dry I cut it in A2 size and foam mounted it flat on a cream cardbase. The sentiment is from Easy Expressions set by The Ton. To finish off this card I scattered some clear iridescent sequins.
