Urban Blooms Die

Welcome to the Alex Syberia Designs blog, this is Nicky with you today and I’m sharing a CAS card that I made featuring the beautiful new Urban Blooms Die from the October release.

This is a 5 3/4″ square card that I started to make by grabbing some Autumnal themed patterned paper from my stash and cutting it to the 5 3/4″ overall dimensions.  Over this I layered a smaller panel of mustard coloured cardstock.  These panels were attached to my card base.

I then created a square panel of sturdy white cardstock and I die cut using the Urban Blooms Die.  I placed masks under the petals of the flowers and added a touch of ink blending using Blush ink by The Stamp Market.  I then glued the panel to the mustard panel of cardstock.   I teased the petals upwards for dramatic dimension.

To complete this card I added green Stickles glitter to the centre of each bloom and I stamped the sentiment which is from the Grateful for You stamp set and coordinating die and I added a triple stack of dimensional foam tape discretely behind it so that the sentiment would float over the top of the petals.  Finally I added several white Nuvo drops and then this card was complete.

I appreciate you stopping by the blog today, have a wonderful weekend!

Nicky
