Well hello there, this is Nicky with you today on the Alex Syberia Designs blog and I’m sharing a cheerful and quite flamboyant thank you card that I created using products from the February release. Here’s a list of useful links to the products used:-
I die cut a white panel of cardstock using the Heart Garland Cover Die and I glued it directly to a white card base.
I die cut the Trendy Botanicals from sturdy white cardstock and I coloured the different pieces with Copic markers:-
Large Flower (centre) – RV00, V000, V01, RV63, V12, Y26, YR000, E50
Dark Purple Flowers – V17, V15, V20
Dark Pink Flowers – RV66
Greenery – G40, YG11, YG41, YG45
Starting with the largest with the large centre flower I began to glue the parts together and attach everything to the background using dimensional foam tape. A few points were highlighted with a white gel pen.
For the finishing touch I die cut the word Thanks from white and gold cardstock, glued the two parts together and then using tiny pieces of foam tape I floated the sentiment above the blooms.
