Hello friends! It’s Bobbi Lemanski sharing an anniversary card today. I am using a number of new items from the latest Alex Syberia Designs, “You Are Loved” release. This 5″ X 7″ card features the following new items:
Floral Medley coordinating dies
Garden Tweets die set (from a previous release)
My card measures 5″ X 7″ total. The card’s base, front panel and stamped florals are made from Neenah Classic Crest, Solar White cardstock.
To make this 5″ X 7″ card, I stamped the floral swags and the individual large rose. I colored the stamped images with Copic Sketch Markers. I used the following colors:
- Reds: R89, R46, R17, R14
- Greens: YG65, YG63, YG61
- Blue-Greens: BG75, BG72
- Blue-Violets: BV000, BV00, BV01
- Violets: V04, V12
I colored the roses in the reds, leaving white on the edges for highlights. I also used my white Gelly Roll pen to add additional highlights as needed. I cut everything using the coordinating dies.
I die cut the Trendy Pattern design from black cardstock and backed it with a soft gray cardstock. I attached the layered background to the white card base and attached the stamped floral swags to the opposite corners. I layered the large rose over other florals and attached it using a foam tab to make it stand out a bit.
I die cut the Garden Tweets set’s leafy stems from white cardstock and added some green color to them to blend with the stamped images. I tucked them behind the flowers to extend the rose images. I stamped and die cut the “Happy anniversary” phrase and attached it to the card front. Finally, I added some sparkle by attaching red gem stickers to the black squares in the trendy pattern design.
