Tiny Rainbow Flowers

Hi crafty friends! I made this card right when the February release first came out and I’m so happy to finally share it on the Alex Syberia YouTube channel!

I used the Tiny Flowers Cover Die for this card and of course I wanted to make it rainbow. Make it rainbow, but subtle. So I die cut the Tiny Flowers Cover Die from some simple white cardstock. I cut a bunch of strips from colored cardstock and glued them on the back of the white die cut. You don’t want to use light cardstock here, the holes from this cover die are really tiny, so you want a strong pop of color behind there.

For my sentiment I used the stunning Large Thanks Hot Foil Plate. I foiled it on white cardstock using the Spellbinders Prism Hot Foil with the Spellbinders Glimmer System of course. Any overfoiling, I got rid of with a sand eraser. I cut the sentiment out with the shadow die from the Large Thanks Die Set.

To assemble this card, I trimmed the rainbow panel down a little and propped it up on a piece of cardboard to give it some nice sturdy dimension. I also added dimension to the foiled sentiment by die cutting additional layers and stacking them all together. To finish it up, I added a small holographic gem to the center of each tiny flower.
