Well hey there, crafty friend! I hope you’re having a fab day today! It’s Amanda Fitterer here sharing a SWEET shaker card with you! Keep reading to see how I put this card together!
To create this card, I trimmed a piece of white cardstock to 4″x5.25″ and grabbed my Chevron Chic Stencil. I used some Mixed Media paste and added some Picket Fence Studios Liquid Fire Orange Paper Splatter Watercolor to it. Using a spatula, I applied my paste through the stencil.
While I let that dry, I cut the large Nested Stitched Circle Die in white cardstock. Then, I ran that circle through the diecutting machine again with the smaller circle centered and taped to it. This created a really cool frame, don’t you think!? I love those stitches!
I also cut a piece of acetate with the large circle. I used double sided tape to adhere that to the back of my frame. I then lined the entire frame with skinny foam tape. I grabbed my (now dry) stenciled panel and put a beautiful mix of fall sequins in the center of it. I then adhered my circle to the panel, keeping all the sequins trapped inside.
My stamped images and sentiment are from the Sweet Friend Stamps. I colored them with Copic markers and cut them out with their coordinating dies. They’re propped up with 3D foam squares to add even more dimension to this already fun card!
That’s it for me today, friends! I hope you enjoyed this fun little “thinking of you” card! I hope you find some time to get crafty today!
Xx, Amanda
