The New Butterfly Bliss Die Set

It’s lovely of you to join me today on the Alex Syberia Designs blog.  You are probably aware by now that there is a brand new release of beautiful products and I’m going to share with you how I made this card.

I have used the following products:-

Butterfly Bliss Die Set (NEW!)

Essential Sentiments Press Plate & Die Set (NEW!)

Good Day Quilted Rectangles Die Set

I took an A2 white panel of cardstock and I ink blended a pink focal point and added a little green ink blending to the upper right and lower left corners.  I also dotted in some interest with a metallic gel pen.  I adhered this to the card base and I framed it out in white.  The frame was creating by  using the two frame dies included in the Good Day Quilted Rectangles Die Set.  I adhered with foam tape.

I found some pink, white, green, yellow and glittered gold cardstock in my stash of leftovers from other projects and I die cut the butterflies parts and the flowers and greenery.  I adhered the pieces together and then adhered them with foam tape to the ink blended background.  The butterflies are on a double layer of foam tape under their glittered bodies so that they really elevated and the light really gets underneath them.

Just one final finishing touch to go and that was the addition of the Hello sentiment from Essential Sentiments which was also added on a double layer of dimensional foam tape so that it wasn’t lost amongst the butterflies.

Thank you for reading the blog today.

Nicky
