Happy Wednesday friends, this is Nicky back with you today on the Alex Syberia Designs blog. I have this ‘Thanks – From All Of Us’ card featuring vivid red blooms, read on for all the details. First of all, here are links to the products used:-
Charming Floral Background Stencil Set
Celebration Sentiments Hot Foil Plate
I started with the background panel, using all 5 stencils from the Charming Floral set in turn and blending one colour at a time. I used Distress Oxide Inks in Candied Apple, Lumberjack Plaid, Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn and Fossilized Amber.
I backed the panel with white craft foam and applied it to a slightly larger white cardstock base.
I die cut white cardstock twice using the Heart Collage Die. They were adhered to each other and then to the floral background. Really getting some dimension going here.
To complete the card I created the sentiment. I die cut the large ‘Thanks’. I die cut the white background shape twice and glued them together and added the small gold die cut on top. I adhered this to the background and then I added the ‘from all of us’ sentiment beneath it which I already had on hand because when you use the Celebration Sentiments Hot Foil Plate and die cut with the Thin Stripes Cover Die, you create a whole bunch of fun and useful sentiments in one fell swoop. This smaller sentiment was backed with foam tape and applied and with that, this card was complete.
