Hello, fellow crafters!! Brenda here with you today!! I hope you had a great weekend!! I had a lot of crafty time, so I consider that an amazing weekend!! I have a floral thank you card to share today featuring the flowers from the Avian Allure Stamp Set!!
I began by stamping the images from the Avian Allure Stamp Set onto white cardstock twice with Copic-friendly ink. I colored the flowers and leaves with Copic markers, then used the Coordinating Die to cut them out. (This set stamps all the images at once and cuts them out with the same die, so I set aside the birds and additional images to use on other cards.) I added dots to the stamen with a white gel pen, then set them aside to work on the background.
Next, I die-cut the Postage Stamps Cover Die from white cardstock and added pale peach ink onto the panel using the Postage Stamps Stencil and a blending brush. A panel of peach cardstock was die-cut with the largest die in the Good Day Quilted Rectangles Die Set and the postage die-cut was adhered with liquid glue. The flowers and leaves were arranged and also adhered with liquid glue.
The sentiment is also from the Avian Allure Stamp Set. It was stamped onto white cardstock with black pigment ink, cut out with the Coordinating Die and popped up with foam tape. A trio of pearls in opposite corners finishes off the card.
That does it for me today!! Have a wonderful week and I’ll see you next Monday!!
