Happy Monday, crafters!! Brenda here with you today!! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!! I have a floral friendship card to share today that combines several goodies from the latest Sweet Friend Release!!
I began by stamping the floral image from the Bouquet of Blessings Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Copic-friendly black ink. I colored it with Copic markers, added dots to the centers of the flowers with a yellow gel pen, then used the Coordinating Die to cut it out.
For the background, I die-cut the Charming Flora Cover Die from a panel of white cardstock, splattered it with diluted black ink and adhered it to an A2 white card base. I stenciled the left half of the Chevron Chic Stencil onto white cardstock with black dye ink, trimmed a strip and adhered it along the left side of the background. I trimmed a strip of black cardstock and adhered it to the back of the floral die-cut, then adhered it to the background.
The sentiment is also from the Bouquet of Blessings Stamp Set. It was white heat embossed onto black cardstock and cut out with the Coordinating Dies. The sentiment strip read “thank you for your friendship” so I simply trimmed off the “thank you” so I could combine it with the script “thank you”. I adhered some pink pearls around the sentiment to finish off the card.
