Hello friends! It’s Bobbi sharing a card featuring new sets from the “Have a Good Day” Release by Alex Syberia Designs. Today’s card features the following new products:
Avian Allure Stamp Set and coordinating die set
I used Neenah 80lb Classic Crest white cardstock for the card base, postage stamps die cut and the bird and colored cardstock for the flowers.
To make this 5″ X 7″ card, I started by diecutting the postage stamps background using the Postage Stamps Cover Die. I stenciled color on the stamps using the Postage Stamps Stencil. This is a perfect way to get a nice background for the individual looking stamps. I used Distress Oxide Inks in Mermaid Lagoon, Mustard Seed and allowed them to mix to make a fresh yellow-green color, too, for the backdrops.
I stamped and die cut the bird and die cut the flowers from bright cardstock colors. I colored the bird using Copics and die cut it using the coordinating dies. Everything was attached using glue, except for the bird. The bird was attached using foam tabs.
