Textured Summer Bliss

Hi friends!

I’m so happy to be back on the blog sharing another colorful design!

As the title of this blog says, I’ve used the Summer Bliss Die set to create this super colorful wreath. I wanted to create some  textured on my background so I used one of the dies from the Signature Tags Die set and run it through my die cutting machine several times though I did not die cut the whole A2 panel as I knew I’d be covering it with some leaves.

Next up I die cut a bunch of leaves out of white cardstock and inked them up with bright vibrant colors using brushes. This is my favourite way to add some color to die cuts. I find it very forgiving and faster than any other techniques. I made sure to add more ink on the bottom of each leave or even mix some colors.

I added some splatters of gold watercolors and used the circle Hello die, also from the Summer Bliss set. Lastly I added some sequins here and there for some extra sparkle.

I hope this colorful design inspires you to create.

Thank you so much for stopping by and happy crafting!
