Hi friends! Are you thinking about hearts, sweet candy, roses, and handmade valentine cards?! Valentine’s Day is February 14 and I’m getting ready with lots of sweet valentines! This card is quick and straightforward, but so cute and sweet! I’m using the following Alex Syberia Designs products:
Sweet Love stamps and coordinating dies bundle (still available at Simon Says Stamp)
To make this card, I stamped, colored and die cut the pair of kissing mice and daisy. I used the following Copic colors: C3, C2, C1, C0, RV00, BG15, BG10, R81, RV55. For the daisy, I colored it in C3, C1, Y18 and Y08. I also cut the red hearts using the Quirky Hearts die set. I used my Gelly Roll pen in white to add dots to the exterior border heart. I also die cut a red cardstock piece using the Tiny Hearts Cover Die. I kept a few of the small red hearts to use later.
I attached the quirky hearts in the upper 1/3 space on the front of a 5″ X 7″ white card base. The border piece was attached using foam tabs to make it stand out. With foam tabs, I also attached the mice at the bottom of the heart base and the long stem daisy. I aligned the daisy stem with the hands of the miss mouse.
I stamped the “love you” phrase from the Sweet Love stamp set, right below the mice. Lastly, I added some black specks using a fine-tipped black marker. I also added some very tiny hearts die cut from the Tiny Hearts Cover Die.
