Summer Leaves and Kaleidoscope Digital Stamps | Watercolouring & Foiling

Hello, everyone!

TaeEun from Rainbow in November here.
I made a card with a gorgeous leafy digital stamp, called Summer Leaves. Not a floral one today ! But I colored the leaves in non-green colors like flowers!

I printed the Summer Leaves in two different sizes and colored it in Perylene Violet, Prussian Green (Schmincke) and Aussie Red Gold (Daniel Smith). It’s a color combination I’m in love with recently! After the coloring was done I fussy cut the leaves and set them aside.

To create the background I printed the Kaleidoscope A2 Card Panel digital stamp on a watercolor paper with my laser printer and foiled it in gold using a laminator.

Unfortunately it didn’t work well and I got a partial foiling on the image. I wasn’t that happy with the result but thought it’s not bad as it somehow looked vintage. I watercolored the panel in the same colors I used for the leaves and splattered gold ink on it. I also splattered gold ink on the leaves and let them all dry.

The oval frames were cut using the Oval Nested Dies by The Ton from gold mirror cardstock and foam mounted on the card. Next I placed the Summer Leaves on the frames and added some Metallic Gold Dew Drops to the center of each image and to the card.

The sentiment is from Easy Expressions Thanks set (The Ton). I heat embossed it in white and Liquid Platinum on black, cut with the coordinating die and foam mounted to the card.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Happy hopping!

Hugs,

TaeEun
