Stenciled Spring Garden

Hello, fellow crafters and happy Saturday and first day of April!! I hope you’re all doing well!!

As much as I love to color with my markers, there is something relaxing and enjoyable about stenciling!! My card today is mostly stenciled, with just the sentiment being stamped…no coloring at all!!

I began by stenciling the Spring Garden Layering Stencil Set onto white cardstock with different shades of pink, yellow and teal dye inks using blending brushes. I like to dry between layers with a heat gun to keep the layers crisp. Once all of the stenciling was done, I used the Spring Garden Coordinating Dies to cut it out.

For the background, I stenciled the Floral Lattice Stencil onto an A2 panel of white cardstock using some of the same pink and yellow dye inks that I used on the blooms. It was adhered to a white card base, then the floral image was adhered to it.

The Expressing Gratitude Sentiments Stamp Set was white heat embossed onto black cardstock, then cut out with the Coordinating Die. I love that I have lots of sentiment strips ready to go on other cards!! All of the sentiments are more unique than you usually find in sentiment sets…I LOVE that!! This sentiment is one example of that. It was popped up with foam adhesive and this card was finished.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!! Have a wonderful weekend and I’ll see you back here next Saturday!!
