Maura here, sharing a card I made using “Springtime A2 panel” from Alex’s March release…
I can’t say enough about all of Alex’s designs. They are gorgeous and varied – and always fun to play with!! I colored the image with copic markers (the flowers and leaves) and then did some Distress Ink blending for the background. In the smaller areas I used a blending stick with a very small tip. I added some details to the flowers with white gel pen – I am always amazed at what a difference that makes!
Then because I felt it needed something more, I stamped around the image with a grid stamp and a splat stamp. The sentiment is embossed on purple card stock and popped up with dimensional tape. Finally, I added a few sequins for that something extra. A pretty straight forward card, but I was very happy with the results. I think the purple/yellow combination has such a springtime vibe!
