Hello, this is Nicky with you today on the Alex Syberia Designs blog and I’m sharing a new Easter card I made using the Spring Bunnies stamp set. The coordinating die for Spring Bunnies, is currently out of stock however you can pick it up from Simon Says Stamp here.
To start the card I took an A2 panel of pink cardstock and over this I layered a white frame which was created using the Good Day Quilted Rectangles Die Set. The frame was applied with dimensional foam tape.
I stamped the images from Spring Bunnies using Eiffel Tower ink by MFT. I coloured the images with the following Copic marker combinations:-
Bunnies – C1, C0, C00, R0000
Blush & Ears – R22, R21, R00
Carrots – YR14, YR02, E95, G14, YG13, YG01
Mint – BG11, G0000, C1, C0
Pink – RV02, RV00
Yellow – Y21, E51
I die cut the images including the sentiment which is included in the stamp set.
I adhered the sentiment with foam tape and then glued the eggs and pots of carrots and flowers directly to the pink background. I then backed the bunnies with foam tape and positioned them on each of the two rows.
I highlighted a few points with a white gel pen and then randomly applied a few sparkling clear sequins for finishing accents.
