This card says it all. You are loved… over and over and over again! Show me the love! It’s Bobbi Lemanski here with a card with a strong message in high, impactful, contrast colors. This black background card makes the Xs and Os plus the sentiment in the lower right corner, stand out in a fun way.
I’m using the following Alex Syberia Designs products to create this look:
For this 5″ X 7″ card, I started with a black background and added the cursive Os cut from white and a warm gray cardstock using the You Are Loved die. In between the Os, I added colorful Xs in red, yellow-green, turquoise, white, gray, and mustard. The Xs are the inverse cut outs from the Trendy Pattern Cover die. I cut several of them from bright colors to create the colorful Xs for the card. This is a good way to use up some of the “throw away” cutouts.
I attached the Xs and Os and added a “You are loved” sentiment to the lower, righthand corner. I added white dots to the black background using a white Gelly Roll gel pen. I also added coordinating enamel stickers in fun colors to the background. To finish the look, I stamped the “love you” sentiment on some of the Xs using a stamp from the Paradise Birds stamp set. This is a quick card and a fun way to use typography to send a bold and thoughtful message!
