Shine – It’s A Good Mood Kinda Day

Hello, my crafty friends and happy weekend!! Hubby has to work today, so I’m looking forward to some uninterrupted time in my craft room…except for taking care of my furbabies!! I have fun card to share today combining lots of goodies from the newest Time To Choose Happy Release!!

I started by stamping the adorable bird from the Paradise Birds Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Copic-friendly black ink. I colored it with Copics and used the Coordinating Die to cut it out. The stars and sentiment are from the Rainbow Sentiments Stamp Set. The stars were stamped with yellow ink and the sentiment with teal, then they were cut out with the Rainbow Sentments Coordinating Dies.

A panel of white cardstock was die-cut with the Tiny Cross Cover Die and layered over a panel of teal cardstock. I dry embossed the Pureland Fan Stencil onto a panel of white cardstock, then blended a light layer of pale yellow ink onto it. It was trimmed down and adhered behind a frame that was cut from yellow cardstock using dies from the Nested Scalloped Frames Die Set, then adhered to the background panel.

“Shine” was die-cut from teal glitter cardstock once and heavyweight white cardstock three times using the Bright & Bubbly Die Set. All of the layers were stacked and adhered together and added to the front of the card. All of the other die-cuts were popped up with foam tape and I was finished.

Thanks so much for spending a bit of your day with me!! Have a wonderful weekend!!

Brenda
