Hello Crafty Friends,
Sylvie @kaliscards here. Today, I’m sharing this sweet postcard featuring the Sweet friend and Tulips treasure stamp sets which are my favorites
To create this card, I started by cutting a panel 7 by 5.5″ from white cardstock. On the left, I positionned the big tulip stamp from the Tulips treasure stamp set and then placed one of the mice from the Sweet friend stamp set on one of the leaves. I closed the door of my stamping press to pick up the mouse stamp and removed the tulip stamp.
I stamped the mouse with Memento Black Tuxedo ink and again on masking paper. I fussy cut the mask and adhered it over the stamped image. I then placed again the tulip stamp and stamped it with the same black ink. I colored the images with Copic markers.
I then blended Distress oxides Spun sugar and Kitsch flamingo along the edges of the panel.
I placed the panel in my stamping press again and stamped the two sentiments, sending love, from the Tulips treasure set and Kindly deliver to my favorite person from the Special delivery stamp set.
I then drew two lines with my ruler and a grey copic liner to create the postcard areas.
Next, I die cut the postage stamp from white cardstock using the Postage stamps cover die. I cut two of the sides with a pair of scissors to keep only one stamp. I masked the edges of the postage stamp with masking tape and stamped the mice couple from the Sweet friend stamp set. I stamped them once more on masking paper, fussy cut the mask and adhered it over the miced. I then blended Distress oxides Spun sugar and Kitsch flamingo on the background. I removed the masking paper and tape.
Next, I stamped the price from the Special delivery set with black ink and 3 tiny hearts from the Spring bunnies stamp set with Memento Lady bug ink.
I adhered the postage stamp on to the card panel, with liquid adhesive. And I stamped the post marks with black ink. To finish the card, I adhered the panel onto the cardbase with liquid adhesive.
Thank you for stopping by.
