Hi there! This is Nicky with you today on the Alex Syberia Designs blog and I’m sharing a shaker card with a love/Valentines theme.
To create the card I have used the following products:-
Good Day Quilted Rectangles Die Set
Nested Scalloped Frames Die Set
I took some butter coloured cardstock and created the background by die cutting with the Heart Garland Cover Die. I also used the die to die cut pastel pink, green and blue cardstock and I used some of the little hearts of each colour and inserted them in the butter panel. I adhered this panel to a white panel and then inserted it into an A2 shaker pocket and I poured in the shaker contents from my stash.
Using the Good Day Quilted Rectangles Die Set, I created a white frame which I applied with foam tape.
Using the Nested Scalloped Frames Die Set I created the little panel of vellum. I stamped the sentiment from Penguin Love together with the heart envelopes and I adhered it to the shaker window.
I stamped the penguin from Penguin Love and coloured with Copic markers, die cut and applied to the vellum panel to complete the card.
