Hello, friends and happy Monday!! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!! Brenda here with a card that’s a great reminder to all of us!! At least I know that I need to be reminded of this often!!
I began by stamping the adorable images from the Smile More Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Copic-friendly ink. I colored them with Copic markers, added highlights with a white gel pen, then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out.
For the background, I die-cut the Floral Splendor Cover Die from white cardstock and layered it over an A2 panel of black cardstock that was die-cut with the largest die in the Good Day Quilted Rectangles Die Set. I also die-cut two circles from pink and white cardstock using the Nested Stitched Circle Die Set. I masked off the top portion of the white circle die-cut and blended a bit of Pumice Stone Distress ink onto the bottom and Mermaid Lagoon onto the top. The circles were adhered to the background and the die-cuts were adhered to the circles, all using liquid glue.
The sentiments are both from the Smile More Stamp Set. They were white heat embossed onto black cardstock and cut out with the Coordinating Dies. They were both popped up with foam tape, and this card was finished.
