Postage Stamps Friend Card

Hello, friends and happy Monday!! I hope your weekend went well!! Brenda here with a friendship card featuring the Special Delivery Stamp Set and the Postage Stamps Cover Die from the Have A Good Day Release, along with a couple of previously released goodies!! Although it’s still hot here in the Midwest, I’m feeling the autumn vibes in my cardmaking, so I went with a warm, fall color scheme!!

I started by die-cutting the Postage Stamps Cover Die from white cardstock. I added the Postage Stamps Stencil over the top and blended Fired Brick, Rusty Hinge and Wild Honey Distress Inks into each opening with blending brushes, then splattered it with diluted white ink. I removed the stencil, then stamped some of the images from the Special Delivery Stamp Set with black pigment ink. Once the ink was dry, I gold heat embossed some of the other images and sentiments from the same set.

Next, I die-cut a panel of black cardstock with the largest die in the Good Day Quilted Rectangle Die Set and adhered the postage panel with liquid glue.

The top layer of the Friend Die Set was once from glossy black cardstock and two times from heavyweight white cardstock. The shadow layer was cut from heavyweight white cardstock twice. The layers were stacked and adhered together with liquid glue, then adhered to the center of the card.

That’s it for me today!! Have a wonderful week and I’ll see you next Monday!!

Brenda
