Happy Monday, friends!! Brenda back with you today!! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!! I’m working on getting some of my Christmas cards finished early so I’m not stressed during the holidays. I decided to challenge myself to combine products from the latest Have A Good Day Release with Christmas goodies from the previous years to create a few holiday cards. I wanted a “frosty” look for this card…
I began by silver heat embossing the Birthday Bouquet Stamp Set onto Bristol smooth cardstock. I colored it with Zig Clean Color Real Markers, then cut it out with the Coordinating Die. I used a white gel pen to whiten the stamen of the flowers.
For the background, I die-cut the Sparkly Flakes Cover Die from blue pearlescent cardstock. The floral bouquet was adhered with liquid glue and it was splattered with diluted white ink.
The sentiment, from the Christmas Sentiments Stamp Set, was silver heat embossed onto Bristol smooth cardstock, cut out with the Coordinating Dies, then popped up with foam adhesive. I added some clear rhinestones for a bit of sparkle to finish off the card.
That’s it for me today!! I hope I’ve inspired you to pull out your non-Christmas products to create holiday cards!! I have a couple of more cards in mind, so stay tuned!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!! Have a wonderful week!!
