Paradise Birds with a Bold Background

Hello crafty friends and Happy Sunday to you!  It’s Amanda Fitterer here and today I’m sharing a BOLD card featuring the Paradise Birds Stamp Set.  I love how each of these birds are so full of personality!

To create this card, I trimmed a piece of white cardstock to 4″x 5.25″.  Then, using my Catherine Pooler Something Borrowed Ink, I swiped the entire ink pad along the whole piece of cardstock in a few swipes.  Next, I placed 2 of the leaves stamps on an acrylic block.  I stamped the leaves with my Wow! Embossing pad and then applied gold embossing powder.  I melted the powder with my heat gun.

For my adorable birds, I simply stamped them out with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on my MISTI, colored them with Copic markers, and then cut them out with the coordinating dies!  I propped them up with 3D foam squares on a piece of vellum.  I used liquid glue to adhere my blue panel to the Card Base.

Well, friends!  That’s it for me today!!  I hope you have enjoyed this post and find some time to get crafty today!!
