Happy Monday, crafters!! Brenda back with you today!! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!!
I have a friendship card featuring the Whimsy Blooms Bouquet Die Set from the Grateful For You Release to share with you today!!
I began by die-cutting the flowers, foliage and bow in the Whimsy Blooms Bouquet Die Set from pink, aqua, coral, peach and green cardstock. I added some shading to the flowers with detail blending brushes using Picked Raspberry Distress Ink. I wanted one of the stems with the flowers to curve the other direction, so I inked the back of those flowers, then adhered them all together using liquid glue.
For the background, I used the Tiny Autumn Leaves Hot Foil Plate to emboss a panel of white cardstock using my die-cutting machine and an embossing mat. I trimmed the panel and adhered it to an A2 panel of aqua cardstock that was die-cut with the largest die in the Good Day Quilted Rectangles Die Set. The die-cuts were arranged and adhered with liquid glue.
The sentiment, from the Grateful for You Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock using teal dye ink. It was die-cut with the Coordinating Die, along with three more layers from heavyweight white cardstock. They were stacked and adhered together with liquid glue, then adhered to the lower, left side of the card. I added Star Dust Stickles onto the top layer of the flowers for a little sparkle to finish off the card.
I absolutely love this die set and can’t wait to explore more uses for it!! It’s so versatile!!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a wonderful week and I’ll see you next Monday!!
