Hey card making friends, welcome back. It’s Sandi MacIver here and today I have a NEW Card Making Video – Simple Floral Die Cut Birthday Card. I think I used half of the new Alex Syberia Release on this card, haha, but I had a blast creating it. The main component for today’s card is the beautiful Delicate Blooms Die Set, and in the background, the Timeless Blooms Celebration Hot Foil Plate, for some Bling.
The Background for this card actually has 3 layers, the Dazzling Fireworks Cover Die as the card front.
Next, The Timeless Blooms Celebration filigree die over the Hot foil plate. I thought it would add great detail and interest, and I did it all in white and gold so it didn’t distract from the pretty flowers.
How to create the Simple Floral Die Cut Birthday Card:
Products Used:
- Delicate BLooms Die Set
- Timeless Blooms Celebration Die Set
- Hot Foil plate for the Timeless Blooms Celebration
- Dazzling Fireworks Cover Die
- Inside the card – It’s Your Birthday Hot Foil Plate and Die Set
- Celebrate Sentiment – Floral Balloon Extravaganza – and coordinating die set.
Start by die cutting all the pieces you need. 3 large flowers, 5 small flowers 14 large and small leaves, 3 layers for the sentiment. Cut out two of the filigree Timeless Blooms pieces from white.
Then, use Polished Brass foil for the Timeless Blooms pieces (cut two) , and Black foil for inside the card – It’s your Birthday sentiment.
Next, build the A2 sized white card base, 4-1/4″ x 11″, score and fold at 5-1/2″
Finally, place the 4-1/4 x 5-1/2″ white card front onto the Dazzling Fireworks Cover Die and run it through the die cutting machine before attaching it to the card base. Glue the Timeless Blooms filigree pieces over the gold foiled pieces and glue them to either side of the card front at the center.

Then, add the two shades of green to the leaves.

Finally, embellish with gold gems, and then splatter with gold and white paint.
