Hello, friends and happy Monday!! I hope you’re all doing well!! Brenda here with you today!! I have one more card to share before the new release drops later this week!!
I started by stamping the sweet mouse and hearts from the Sweet Friend Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Copic-friendly black ink. I colored them with Copic markers, added highlights with a white gel pen and used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out.
Next, I die-cut the Tiny Hearts Cover Die from dark blue cardstock and layered it over a panel of bright pink cardstock. I created a shaker by die-cutting the largest heart from the Quirky Hearts Die Set from bright pink cardstock. I trimmed a piece of acetate for the front of the shaker and vellum for the back, added some pink heart embellishments for the shaker bits, then adhered it to the background panel.
The sentiment, from the Sweet Friend Stamp Set, was stamped with pink ink and cut out with its Coordinating Die. I also die-cut three more layers from heavyweight white cardstock, adhered them behind the stamped one, then added them across the bottom of the heart. The mouse and heart die-cuts were adhered to the front of the shaker and this card was finished.
I love how this turned out!! A simple layout, but the shaker (and that sweet mouse) make it a bit more special!!
Thanks so much for hanging out with me today!! Have a great week!!
