My card below measures 5″ X 7″ and fits inside an A7 envelope. I’m using 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock for the card base and a navy cardstock for the card front. Here’s the details…
To create this card, I cut a 5″ X 7″ card front from navy cardstock. I cut four to six stems of mistletoe using the two sizes of greenery from the Joyful Poinsettia die set. The mistletoe was cut from shades of green cardstock to create depth in the bundle. I glued the greenery to the card front, keeping the leaves loose and unglued. Next, I die cut both sizes of the bows from the Pretty Bows die set from red cardstock. I glued the two bows to the top of the bundle, layering the smaller one over the larger one.
Right below the mistletoe bundle, I stamped in Versamark ink, the “MERRY Christmas” sentiment from the Christmas Sentiment stamp set. I embossed the sentiment using Brutus Monroe Gilded Sparkle in gold. I lightly covered the words and splattered white paint all over the card front to look like fresh, fallen snow. Lastly, I attached the card front to a white card base to complete the card.
