Hello Crafty friends,
Sylvie @kalisards here sharing a cute Postage stamp card with the adorable penguin from the Smile more stamp set. I combined the cute penguin with other sets to create unique stamps with the same penguin.
To create this card, I die cut the Postage stamp cover die from white cardstock. I placed a grip mat in my stamping press and positionned the panel on it. I then covered the panel with the coordinating Postage stamps stencil.
I stamped the beanie and Christmas hat from the Falala friends and slippers from the Smile more stamp set. I also stamped the images onto masking paper, fussy cut the masks and adhered them on the postage panel. I then stamped the 4 penguins and masked them. And finally stamped the mailbox from the Smile and wave stamp set and pile of gifts from the Falala friends. I also masked those images.
Next, I blended Distress oxide Old paper on the 4 stamps and then blended Forest moss and Rustic wilderness on the edges. I finished blending with Old paper.
I then splattered Distress Mica stain Tree lot and white Copic paint diluted with a few drops of water.
I set it aside to dry and then unmasked the images. I colored them with Copic markers.
I stamped the price tags from the Special delivery set with Versamark and heat set with white embossing powder. In the same way, I also stamped the words Merry and Happy Holidays from the Festive poinsettia set, and the word Kisses from the Merry Christmice set.
To finish, I stamped the postmark from the Special delivery set with black ink.
I adhered the panel onto the cardbase with foam tape.
Thank you for stopping by and see you next time.
