Happy Monday, fellow crafters and card makers!! Brenda back with a Christmas card featuring the Merry Mail Stamp Set & Coordinating Dies!!
I began by stamping the images from the Merry Mail Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Copic-friendly black ink. I colored them with Copic markers, added highlights with a white gel pen, then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. (Tip: use a black water-based marker around the outside of the postage stamp image to create a finished edge.)
For the background, I blended red and green dye inks onto a panel of white cardstock through the Festive Fun Stencils. I used the second largest die in the Good Day Quilted Rectangles Die Set to cut it out. I also die-cut a panel of red cardstock with the largest rectangle die in the Nested Scalloped Frames Die Set and adhered the stenciled panel to the red one.The stamp and Christmas die-cuts were adhered with liquid glue.
The top layer of the sentiment, from the Merry Christmas Die Set, was die-cut once from red glitter cardstock from the Christmas Sparkle Mix Cardstock Pack and three times from heavyweight white cardstock. The shadow layer was die-cut from heavyweight white cardstock three times. The layers were stacked and adhered together with liquid glue, then adhered to the center of the card.
I love how this turned out and hope it has provided some inspiration for your Christmas cards!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!! Have a great week!!
