Merry Christmas – Festive Poinsettia

Hello, crafty friends and happy weekend!! Brenda here with you today!! I’m sure you’ve seen the amazing Christmas In July Release by now!! I have a dramatic, sparkly card to share with you today combining several of the new products!!

I began by stenciling the Festive Poinsettia Layering Stencil Set onto white cardstock using dye inks and blending brushes, then used the Coordinating Die to cut it out. I splattered it with diluted white gouache and a paint brush.

For the background, I added Versamark ink onto a panel of black cardstock through the Falling Snow Stencil with a foam dauber and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I die-cut a frame from gold glitter cardstock using two dies from the Nested Scalloped Frames Die Set and adhered it to the black background with liquid glue. The poinsettia was adhered with liquid glue and the excess was trimmed from the left side.

The sentiment, from the Festive Poinsettia Stamp Set, was gold heat embossed onto black cardstock and cut out with the Coordinating Die. It was popped up with foam adhesive. I added gold Stickles glitter glue to the center of the poinsettia and called this one done.

That’ll do it for me today!! Thanks for stopping by!! Have a wonderful weekend!!

Brenda
