Hello there, friends! I hope your Christmas was the best!! Today, I’m sharing a birthday card I made using the Hog Happy Day Stamps and the Trendy Pattern Stencil Set.
To create this simple card, I ink blended Catherine Pooler’s Hot Tub, With an Olive, and Ginger inks through the Trendy Pattern Stencil Set.
Next, I stamped my little critter from the Hog Happy Day Stamps and colored him with Copic markers. I used W00, W0, W1, W3, and W5. For his cheeks, I used R20. I added a few highlights with a White Gelly Roll pen. I cut him out using the coordinating die set.
I also stamped my sentiment using a WOW! Clear Embossing pad. I applied white embossing powder to the glue and then used my heat tool to melt the powder.
I added a piece of blue vellum, hiding the glue behind the hog. I used 3D foam squares to prop the hog and my sentiment up over the vellum. The final step was to add a few sequins!
Such a simple, but bold card! Thank you for coming to the Alex Syberia Designs blog today and looking at the amazing inspiration from all the designers! Xx, Amanda
