For today’s project, I used the gorgeous Heartfelt Blooms which I combined with the cute mice from the Sweet friend set and the Love die.
To create this card, I started by stenciling the background, with the Heartfelt blooms layering stencils. I used Distress oxides Tattered rose, Kitsch flamingo, Worn lipstick, Squeezed lemonade, Mustard seed, Old paper, Salvaged patina and Peacock feathers. I stenciled the flowers a first time at the top, then at the bottom, and then partially to fill in blank spaces.
I then stamped the Heartfelt blooms image and Sweet friend mice on white cardstock and colored them with Copic markers. I then used the Heartfelt blooms and Sweet friend coordinating dies to cut out the images.
I then placed the cut out Heartfelt blooms over the stenciled background to place the small sentiments in my stamping press. I used the xoxo sentiment from the Sweet friend set, the kisses sentiment from the Merry Christmice stamp set, Love sentiment from the Beautiful day stamp set and darling from the Always be yourself stamp set. I also stamped a few hearts from the same set.
I then adhered the floral image on the background panel with foam tape, as well as the cute mice just below.
I then die cut the love sentiment from glitter cardstock, with the Love die set, using the script die without the outline and adhered it onto the floral with liquid adhesive.
