Happy Monday!! Brenda back with you today!! After the holidays are over, my mind moves on to Valentine’s Day!! I had so much fun mixing and matching newer with older goodies to create my card today!!
I began by stenciling the Charming Floral Background Stencil Set onto an A2 panel of white cardstock using dye inks and blending brushes. The panel was splattered with diluted dye inks and white bleed-proof ink. The frame in the Delicate Frame & Friend Die Set was cut from vellum.
The Endless Heart Die was cut from red cardstock and I adhered one of them to the front of the vellum frame and the inner vellum panel. I added liquid glue to the back of the vellum, behind the die-cuts, then adhered them to the background panel.
The sentiment was created by combining two die sets, the Love & XOXO Die Set & the For You Sentiment Dies. “Love” was cut once each from red and black cardstock and three times from heavyweight white cardstock. “You” was die-cut from black cardstock one time and heavyweight white cardstock three times. All the layers were stacked and adhered together with liquid glue, then adhered in the heart die-cut with liquid glue. A sprinkling of iridescent red hearts adds a bit of shine and reinforces the love theme.
That’s it for me today!! Thank you so much for stopping by!!
