Love Glitters for Valentine’s Day

Hi friends. This valentine greeting features not only hearts, but all the pretty shiny and glittery papers by Alex Syberia Designs.  Glitter doesn’t end with Christmas cards. It just keeps shining right into February with valentines! This valentine is glittery and bright and sophisticated and stylish all at the same time. I used the following Alex Syberia Designs products:

This greeting card is 5″ X 7″ in size and fits inside an A7 envelope.  I should also mention that the reflective nature of the shiny cardstock makes this card very difficult to photograph. You might spot my reflection in a photo or two!

To make this card, I cut a 5″ X 7″ piece of the rose gold mirror cardstock from the Festive Fusion Mix 27 cardstock pack for the card front panel. I die cut the Heart Collage Die from the cardstock piece centering it within the rectangle. I saved the hearts and heart frame for a later project. I used only the outer frame for this card. I glued it to my white 5″ X 7″ card base.  Next, I die cut the collage from a piece of fuchsia glitter cardstock and rose gold glitter cardstock. I attached the rose gold glitter frame to the card front and then glued in the fuchsia glitter hearts into the frame. I left one center heart open. I die cut the heart from black cardstock and glued it in place.

I die cut the X and 0 from silver glitter cardstock from the Black and Silver Mix Cardstock 27 pack. To make the letters extra thick, I die cut four of each letter, stacked and then glued them together. I also stamped and die cut the “love” scripted word using black ink and the From Our Hearts stamp set and coordinating die set. I attached the letters to the front of the black heart and attached the scripted Love word, overlapping the word over the letters slightly. I embellished the X with a tiny pink glittery heart and a sweet rhinestone gem sticker. This card is so pretty. The collage die just frames these glittery hearts perfectly.
