Life is good in teal and yellow

Hello friends!

I’d like to share with you another take on the gorgeous Life is Good Stamp set.

I just adore this set and wanted to try a non conventional color combo in a mini slimline format.

I starting my project by embossing the stamp and then heat emboss it using Ranger Platinum embossing powder. I used the coordinating stencil to color this image.

I used Salvaged Patina and Evergreen Bough for the teal flowers, Squeezed Lemonade and Mustard Seed for the yellow flower, Twisted Citron and Moved Lawn for some leaves and Evergreen Bough and Pine Needle for the rest of the leaves.

Once the flower was colored, I die cut it using the coordinating die

I always like to add volume and texture to my designs so I decided to heat embossed this image onto Vellum twice using Platinum Liquid embossing powder too. Once I die cut these two peaces, I added the vellum flowers under the focal image.

I added two layers of foam adhesive for extra dimension and then just added the sentiment. I used the new Smile die using black Cardstock for the shadow die and silver glitter cardstock on the inner die.

Once I had my sentiment ready, I just glued everything to a 6 by 3 inches and call this card done.

This design was super quick and easy to make! My favorite part of all projects is choosing colors, so I hope I inspire you to create a project using non conventional color combos.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Crarty Hugs!

Raquel
