Hello, crafters and happy Monday!! Brenda back with a card combining the stunning Christmas Bouquet Die Set from the Bow Ho Ho Release with a couple of older die sets!! This set is soooo versatile!! You can use it with the background or use the elements on their own!!
I began by die-cutting the flowers, foliage and sentiment in the Christmas Bouquet Die Set from pink, red, green, teal and matte gold cardstock. I blended all the die-cuts with dye ink, then adhered the individual elements together with liquid glue.
For the background, I die-cut the Sparkly Flakes Cover Die from white cardstock. The strips were cut from the same colors of cardstock that I used for the flowers using the Thin Stripes Cover Die. The individual strips aren’t long enough to stretch diagonally across the front of the card, but I adhered them end-to-end, hiding the ends behind the focal point., then trimmed the excess from each side. The poinsettias and foliage were adhered with liquid glue. I splattered the background with diluted gold watercolor and white bleed-proof ink, concentrating the gold watercolor around the outside and the white ink toward the center.
The gold “JOY” letters were adhered to the red letters, slightly offset. To finish, I used foam adhesive strips to add the letters down the center of the card.
I love that the Christmas Bouquet Die Set includes the letters to spell “JOY” or “HO HO HO”!!
That does it for me today!! Thank you so much for spending part of your Monday with me!!
