It’s a Good Mood Kinda Day!

Hello crafty friends! It’s nice to have a day with friends or family, even if it is just a day of sitting around and crafting or reading together. Good friends and family make us feel happy, healthy, and loved! I made this card using the following products by Alex Syberia Designs:

Smile more stamp set and coordinating dies

Tiny Autumn Leaves Hot Foil Plate

Rainbow Sentiments stamp set and coordinating dies

My card is 5″ wide X 7″ long. I used Neenah 80lb white cardstock for the card base.

To make this A7 card, I stamped, colored, and die cut the images from the Smile more stamp set and coordinating dies. I used Copic Sketch Markers to color the images. I used the following colors:

  • Chair: R89, R46, R29, R14
  • Animals: YR27, YR24, E50, R00
  • Book, Teacup and cups: B45, B41, B99
  • Table: E57, E55, E43
  • Slippers: YR27, YR24, R20
  • Books: A combination of colors listed above
  • I also used a white Gelly Roll Pen for white highlights

For the background, I used the Tiny Autumn Leaves Hot Foil Plate to create the white “wallpaper” backdrop. To make it, I used the plate in a different way. I ran the plate through my Gemini Jr. diecutting machine with white cardstock to create the dry embossed leafy design. I also added a strip of navy cardstock at the base for a “floor” for the furniture to rest on. Lastly, I stamped and die cut the sentiment using the Rainbow Sentiments stamp set and coordinating dies. I attached the phrase right under the navy floor.
