I carrot about you

Hello Crafty friends,

Sylvie @kaliscards here with a dimensional Easter project for you this week.

To create this card, I die cut the back panel from the regular cardstock I use for ink blending and Copic coloring, using the larger rectangle from the Nested scalloped frames die set. With a cloud stencil, I blended Distress ink Salty ocean to create the sky.

I also die cut the Meadow magic cover die from sturdy white cardstock and then ran it through my die cutting machine a second time with the 2nd greater scalloped rectangle from the Nested scalloped frames die set, to create a frame.

I also die cut a scalloped border from kraft cardstock using the larger scalloped rectangle. I blended Distress ink Walnut stain at the top.

I stamped and the cute bunnies and carrots from the Spring bunnies set on white cardstock, the tall grass from the Giraffe-ic friends stamp set, the flower from the Sweet friend stamp set, and the wagon and clouds from the Collecting memories stamp set.

I colored the images with Copic markers and used the Spring bunnies, Giraffe-ic friends, Sweet friend and Collecting memories coordinating dies to die cut the images.

To assemble the card, I used two different foam tapes of different thickness, 2 and 3 mm.

I adhered the thin foam tape at the back of the frame in contact with the earth border and thick foam tape at the top. Behind the earth border, I added another layer of thin foam tape and adhered the back panel and frame onto the cardbase.

I then glued the two bunnies at the back, with liquid adhesive and adhered the rest of the images with thin foam tape. To finish the card, I adhered the sentiment with liquid adhesive.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope to see you next week.

Sylvie
