Hello, friends and happy Monday!! Brenda back with a floral card featuring the Hugs In Bloom Press Plate & Die Set with the Coordinating Stencil Set!!
I started by pressing the Hugs In Bloom Press Plate onto two panels of white cardstock with black ink and the BetterPress System. I stenciled them with the Hugs In Bloom Stencil Set using dye inks and blending brushes, then cut them out with the dies included in the Hugs In Bloom Press Plate & Die Set. I used a yellow gel pen to accent the stamen of the flowers.
For the background, I die-cut the Alhambra Arabesque Cover Die from white cardstock and adhered it to an A2 white card base. I adhered the florals in opposite corners with liquid glue, then trimmed away the excess.
The sentiment, also included in the Hugs In Bloom Press Plate & Die Set, was pressed onto white cardstock with deep purple ink and cut out with the included die. I also die-cut three more layers from heavyweight white cardstock, adhered them behind the stamped one, then added them to the front of the card. Some periwinkle pearl stickers finish off the card.
I love how this turned out!! I can’t wait to color these flowers with Copic markers for a totally different look!!
That does it for me today!! I appreciate you taking the time to stop by!! Have a great week!!
