Hugs – Delicate Blooms

Happy Monday, crafty friends!! Brenda here today with a simple card that can be used for just about any occasion!! The delicate white background really lets the flowers take center stage!!

I began by die-cutting the Delicate Blooms Dies from pink, green and yellow cardstock. I blended them with Picked Raspberry and Peeled Paint Distress Oxide Inks and detail blending brushes to add shading and dimension.

For the background, I die-cut the Meadow Magic Cover Die from white cardstock and adhered it to a white top-folding card base. The flowers were arranged and adhered with liquid glue.

The sentiment is from the Love and Hugs Die Set. The bottom layer was cut three times from heavyweight white cardstock and the top layer once from light pink cardstock. I blended the pink layer with Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Ink at the bottom and faded it toward the top for an ombre’ look. The layers were adhered together and added to the front of the card. To finish, I added some yellow gems for a little sparkle.

Thank you so much for spending a bit of your Monday with me!! Have a great week!!

Brenda
