Hey friends! It’s Amanda Fitterer on the Alex Syberia Designs blog with you today!! Are you ready for Christmas?! Am I the only one still rushing to make Christmas cards?! I’m sharing how I made this Holiday card with you today!
For the background of this card, I die cut the smaller of the rectangles from the Good Day Quilted Rectangles Dies. Next, I ran the panel through my diecutting machine with the Dazzling Fireworks Cover Die. Then, I ran it through again (yes, I know, that’s 3 times!!) with the Magic Stars Die.
I used Catherine Pooler’s Sage and Spruce inks on the panel, focusing the darker Spruce on the edges. I trimmed a piece of white cardstock down to fit behind the panel and colored it with Catherine Pooler’s Shea Butter ink. I glued these panels together and then put 3D foam tape behind it. I adhered it to my white card base.
Now, onto the images! These images are from the Hog Happy Day Stamps and Merry Christmice Stamps.
I stamped the images and colored them with Copic markers. The colors are used were:
Tree: BG90, 93, 96, 99
Pigs: RV000, 10, 32, 34 & R81, 83, 85, 56, 59
Pigs Wings: T1, 3
Ribbon on the Gifts: YG91, 93, 95, 97
Gifts: E42, 43, 44
Star: Y23, 26, 28
I also stamped the sentiment from the Merry Christmice Stamps on black cardstock with a WOW embossing glue pad, applied white embossing powder, and then used my heat tool to melt the powder. These sentiments come with coordinating dies!
I put 3D foam squares and strips behind all the images and sentiments and then adhered them to my card front.
The last step was to add white paint dots everywhere to resemble snow! And it’s finished!
Thank you so much for stopping by the Blog today! I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Xx, Amanda
