Hello, crafty friends and happy Monday!! Brenda back with a “hello” card featuring the absolutely stunning Peony Blossoms Press Plates!! Peonies are one of my favorite flowers to color!! I LOVE all the layers of petals!!
I started by pressing the floral and sentiment plates in the Peony Blossoms Press Plates onto a panel of white cardstock with Copic-friendly black ink using my BetterPress System. I used Copic markers to color it, then cut it out with the largest rectangle die in the Good Day Quilted Rectangles Die Set.
The panel was splattered with diluted black ink. A panel of yellow cardstock was die-cut with the largest scalloped rectangle die in the Nested Scalloped Frames Die Set and the floral panel was adhered with liquid glue. I die-cut a landscape card base using the same die, leaving the top edge of the die hanging over the folded edge. This will give you a scalloped card base. The floral panel and scalloped frame were adhered to the card base with liquid glue.
A trio of pink pearls draws your eye to the sentiment and finishes off the card.
Super simple!! This Peony Blossoms Press Plate is so much fun to color!! I can’t wait to ink it up again!!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a wonderful week!!
