Hello Friend – Butterfly Bliss

Happy Monday, friends!! I hope you had a great weekend!! Brenda back with a colorful card featuring the Butterfly Bliss Die Set!! I thought it would be fun to create a colorful background and leave the die-cuts all white!!

I began by stenciling the Abstract Background Stencil Set onto a panel of smooth white cardstock using dye inks and blending brushes. It was die-cut with the largest rectangle die in the Nested Scalloped Frames Die Set. I also die-cut a panel of vellum with the second largest scalloped rectangle die in the same die set. I adhered it to the center of the background with a tiny bit of glue in the middle of the panel.

Next, I die-cut the butterflies, flowers and leaves in the Butterfly Bliss Die Set from white cardstock. They were adhered together and added to the background, adding adhesive only behind the bodies of the butterflies.

The sentiment is from the Essential Sentiments Die Set. It was die-cut four times from heavyweight white cardstock. The layers were adhered together, then it was added to the front of the card. At this point, I snuck a bit of liquid glue onto the back of the vellum behind the die-cuts to attach the vellum a bit better. I added Star Dust Stickles to all of the die-cuts and this card was finished.

That does it for me today!! Thanks for stopping by!! Have a wonderful week and I’ll see you next Monday!!

Brenda
