Hello – Fantasy Flowers

Happy Monday, fellow crafters!! I hope you had a great weekend!! Brenda here with a hello card featuring the Fantasy Flowers Die Set!! I recently received a few new colors of cardstock and thought this die set would be the perfect opportunity to try them out!!

I began by die-cutting the flowers and leaves in the Fantasy Flowers Die Set from pink, coral, peach, green, yellow and black cardstock. I used the coordinating ink colors to add shading to the die-cuts. I also die-cut the leaves in the Classic Foliage Die Set from green cardstock and vellum.

For the background, I die-cut the Meadow Magic Cover Die from white cardstock and splattered it with diluted black ink. I arranged the flowers and leaves, adhered them with liquid glue and trimmed the excess from the edges. I wrapped black and white twine around the top of the panel three times and tied it into a bow. The panel was adhered to a white A2 card base.

The top layer of the Large Hello Die Set was cut once from black cardstock and three times from heavyweight white cardstock, while the bottom layer was cut from white cardstock. The layers were adhered together, then added to the bottom of the card. I added some detail to the stamen with a yellow gel pen and this card was finished.

Thank you so much for dropping by!! Have a great week!!

Brenda
