Hello – Autumn Card

Happy Monday, friends!! Brenda back with an autumn “hello” card featuring several older die sets!!

I began by die-cutting the leaves in the Autumn Leaves Die Set. The bottom layers were cut from white cardstock and the top from matte gold cardstock. I blended Rusty Hinge, Carved Pumpkin and Wild Honey Distress Inks on the bottom layers. Once the ink was dry, the top layers were adhered with liquid glue. I also die-cut some leaves from the Classic Foliage Die Set from vellum.

Next, I foiled the Tiny Autumn Leaves Hot Foil Plate onto a panel of white cardstock using matte gold foil and my Glimmer hot foil system. I trimmed each side of the leaf panel, blended a bit of gold metallic ink onto the left and right edges, then adhered it to an A2 panel of burnt orange cardstock. One of the dies in the Signature Tags Die Set was cut from burnt orange and white cardstock. I blended a bit of gold ink onto the edges, then splattered the white one with diluted gold ink. The tags were adhered together, slightly offset, then wrapped with twine and tied into a bow. The tags were adhered to the background with liquid glue and the leaves were arranged and adhered with liquid glue, tucking the ends under the bow. The smallest bow in the Pretty Bows Die Set was cut from orange and matte gold cardstock and they were adhered to the top of the tag.

The sentiment, from the Thank You & Hello Die Set was also cut from orange and matte gold cardstock. They were adhered together with liquid glue, then popped up with foam tape. Orange iridescent gems add a bit of sparkle and finish off the card.

That does it for me today!! Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Brenda
