Have A Good Day – Rainbow Floral Splendor

Happy Monday, fellow crafters!! Brenda back with you today!! I hope you had a great weekend!! I got some crafting in and hung out in the pool for a couple of hours yesterday…it doesn’t get much better than that!!

I’ve had the vision for today’s card in my head since I first saw the goodies in the Have a Good Day Release!! I finally got it out of my head and made it happen!! Plus, it only uses two die sets!!

I began by blending Distress Oxide Inks onto an A2 panel of Bristol smooth cardstock. I used Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Mermaid Lagoon and Seedless Preserves. Once the ink was totally dry, I die-cut the panel with the Floral Splendor Cover Die.

Next, I die-cut a piece of black cardstock with the largest rectangle die in the Good Day Quilted Rectangle Die Set. The Floral Splendor die-cut was adhered with liquid glue. I added Star Dust Stickles to the centers of all the flowers.

The sentiment was also created using the Good Day Quilted Rectangle Die Set. The top layer was die-cut once from glossy black cardstock and twice from heavyweight white cardstock. The bottom layer was cut two times from heavyweight white cardstock. All the layers were stacked and adhered together using liquid glue. All that was left was to adhere the sentiment to the center of the background and this card was finished.

I love how this turned out…exactly how I pictured it in my head a few weeks ago!!

Thanks so much for spending part of your day with me!! I appreciate your time!!

Brenda
